Indonesia is the fourth most heavily populated country in the world after China, India and the United States, with over 240 million people, comprising some 300 ethnic groups who speak an estimated 583 languages and dialects. The majority is concentrated on the islands of Java, Bali and Madura. With the opening of INDO QUEST we offer our esteemed guests in the United States the unique opportunity to experience one of the world's most famous cuisines, which is still largely unknown to the outside world. The menu has been chosen with great care by our Indonesian chef to bring you the best of Indonesian cooking - from delicious poultry, meat, seafood and rice dishes to dishes suitable for vegetarians.

An Indonesian meal usually consists of a main rice (nasí) dish with a combination of meat, fish, chicken and vegetable side dishes. The range of flavorings used in Indonesian cooking is vast. Aromatic coriander and cumin, together with chili's, lemon grass, coconut, kecap manis (sweet soy sauce) and cane sugar are all important flavorings while sambal - a hot chili sauce  is always served, in case the food isn't spicy enough!

A lunch or dinner at INDO QUEST is a chance to sample and enjoy the exotic cooking of Indonesia  - the  " land of a thousand islands".
